Privacy and cookies

Information pursuant to Art. 13, Legislative Decree No. 196/2003

Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003 (hereinafter the Code), Studio Service S.r.l., (hereinafter the Company) intends to provide you with the following information regarding the processing of your personal data. It is understood that by visiting the website www.jow-grapchicdesign.it(hereinafter the Website), you acknowledge and accept, if applicable, the procedures described in this privacy notice.

1. Purposes of the processing

The processing of the data that you provide, and/or those collected when you navigate the Website, aims at achieving the following purposes:

  • Allowing access to and navigation in the Site, as well as working out anonymous statistics on the use of the Site, in order to verify its correct operation and ascertain the responsibility for any unlawful actions committed when navigating;

  • Providing the service of registration to the Site. The acquisition of the data, which may be requested, is an essential prerequisite to access the services offered on the Site; www.jow-graphicdesign.it keeps the technical data relevant to log-ins in order to allow the security controls required by the Law and for the aim of improving the quality of the services offered and customizing them to the needs of each user/visitor.

  • Providing the services offered by the Company. The data entered may be used by www.jow-graphicdesign.it also for the purpose of sending periodical email messages containing advertisements, promotional materials, promotional initiatives, commercial communications.

2. Cookies

Moreover, the Company wishes to inform you that it utilizes cookies in order to allow our systems to identify your device and offer you certain functionalities, such as making the navigation within the Site and its correct use easier, facilitating the access to services requiring authentication, as well as to know what areas of the Site have been visited. Cookies are small text files that are sent to your device (usually to the browser) by a web server (in this case, by the Site), where they are stored to be re-transmitted to the Site when you visit it again.

The cookies used in the Site may be either persistent (which means that they are stored, until their expiration date, on the hard disk of the user (visitor’s personal computer) or session cookies (if they are not permanently stored on the computer of the user/visitor and disappear once the browser is closed).

  • to identify you upon your authentication on the Site. Thus, the Company may provide suggestions on the products, display customized contents, make other personalized functions and services available;

  • to provide contents, including advertising, related to your interests on the Site. Advertising defined on the basis of your interests is subject to your preferences;

  • to keep track of items saved in your cart.

PersistentCookies are only used to make navigation easier within the Site and for its correct use; t0 improve access to services that require authentication (so that users do not need to re-enter their authentication credentials every time they access the services), as well as for statistical purposes, to know what areas of the Site have been visited. Session cookies are only used to transmit the necessary session identifiers to permit a safe and efficient use of the Site. The session cookies used in the Site make it unnecessary to use other computer techniques that may be prejudicial to the privacy of the users/visitors’ navigation and are also used to improve the supply of services.

3. Processing methods – Security measures

The processing of your personal data may consist of their collection as well as of their registration, storage, modification, communication, deletion.

In addition, the processing may occur with or without using electronic devices, by specially appointed staff.

Data will be stored on paper and/or through electronic/computer/optical methods and for the time strictly required to achieve the purposes indicated at item 1, in accordance with the applicable laws.

As to your personal data, the Company will adopt all suitable instruments to ensure their security and confidentiality, in compliance with the Code provisions. In particular, all technical, computer, organizational, logistic and procedural security measures will be adopted as required by the Code, so as to ensure the minimum level of data protection guaranteed by applicable laws.

Moreover, the methods used guarantee that access to the data be only permitted to the people appointed by the Company to deal with the relevant processing.

4. Supply of the data

As concerns the supply of personal data, we inform you that:

  • The computer systems and software procedures intended for the operation of the Site acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain personal data, the transmission of which is implied in the use of the internet communication protocols; the mere access to the Site therefore necessarily implies the acquisition by the Company of data related to you;

  • Certain personal data related to you are mandatory for the purposes of the registration to the Site and your refusal to provide them would not permit to complete the registration procedure.

5. Communication and dissemination of the data

The personal data collected for the achievement of the purposes under item 1 above will not be disclosed or disseminated to third parties.

6. Rights of the interested person

Pursuant to Article 7 and following of the Code, you are entitled, inter alia, to:

  • Obtain confirmation on whether or not there are any personal data related to you, and their communication in an intelligible form;

  • Obtain, from the Data Controller or the Data Processor, as identified below;

  • Indications on the origin of the personal data, on the processing purposes and methods, on the logics applied in case the processing takes place by availing of electronic means;

  • Indication of the identification details of the Data Controller and of the Data Processor/s, as well as, where appropriate, of the representative appointed by a foreign entity for the processing of data in Italy;

  • Indications on the persons, or categories of persons, to whom the data may be disclosed, or who may become acquainted with the same in their capacity as representative appointed on the territory of the State, or of data processors or persons in charge;

6.1 Obtain

  • The updating, correction or integration of data related to you;

  • The deletion, conversion into anonymous form or block of data processed in breach of the law, including those, the storage of which is unnecessary for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed;

  • The certification of the fact that the operations indicated in the preceding items have been notified, also with regard to their contents, to those to whom the data were disclosed or disseminated, unless such requirement is impossible to meet or implies the use of resources that would be disproportionate in relation to the protected right;

    1. Object, in the whole or in part:

  • For valid reasons, to the processing of data related to you, even though they are relevant for the purpose of the collection;

  • To the processing of personal data related to you for purposes of commercial information or transmission of advertising material or direct sale or for the carrying out of market researches or for commercial communication.

The above rights may be exercised either directly or through a proxy, whom you may appoint in accordance with the forms indicated by arts. 8 and 9 of the Code.

To exercise the above rights, you will have to submit a written request, by ordinary mail, to the Data Processor, as identified below.
